About BackStage Music 2017

Click through below for individual tickets + more info about each event.

The performers involved in the 2017 BackStage Series are a special group of creative risk takers who enjoying pushing the boundaries of classical music. To them, the most interesting music is made fresh and in collaboration with composers.  What they share with you at BackStage might be wacky and experimental, it could be lush and moving, it could involve film or dance - we don’t know yet because they are still cooking it up!

While we like the idea of surprising you at the gig we also want you to share the musicians’ creative process so keep an eye on our blog and Facebook for some hints about what’s coming up.

PS. The BackStage artists are always keen to chat and share a drink! We are pretty sure you’ll have some questions about what you’ve experienced at a BackStage gig - feel free to ask them what it was they were doing and why!

Tickets for BackStage Music's 2017 Series are available through classikON. classikON shares with you the huge amount of classical and new music being performed in unique spaces by independent musicians in Australia. They make life easier for us musicians by promoting concerts in their newsletter and website, organising online ticket sales and by helping out on the door at the concert.

classikON also publishes Ambassador concert reviews on their website. They’re not technical and and they like to have a range of people write them. If you’d like to write a review of a BackStage concert classikON are always keen to hear from potential Ambassadors
