The program IMPOSTO, especially created for Backstage Music, thematically connects seven uniquely designed works navigating pre-determined and naturally existing axes investigating vertical and horizontal shifts in aural dimensions. Inspired by images selected from a monotonic picture book, The Wanderer by Peter van den Ende (Pushkin Press), a sonic trajectory organically unfolds. This guided musical journey explores and features concepts and resultant qualities of sympathetic resonance performed by virtuosic artisans investigating further reaches of their creative facilities.
